Because if everyone goes to college, it's more competition for their rich kids...

They dont want to demolish colleges, they want it to go back to a system only 1% of people can afford.

Well, also they want kids educated at church like they're supposed to be, so they believe in the correct dogma written by the man on TV with the 5 private jets.
