Iirc, contrary to expectation, this isn't in the US but in SE Asia, Korea, I think. Not that that makes it any better, but needless yelling about US school education is the usual response every time this is posted.

Texas is not the only problem on this map... The more I look the worse it is! I mean there's "stylized" and then there's just phoning it in.

No no, SE Asia is in Korea. You know, "SE Asia, Korea", like "Austin, Texas" or "New York, New York".

According to this map, Korea is actually somewhere in eastern Russia.

It feels like you’re joking now with the New York part, but that doesn’t change the fact that Korea is nowhere near SE Asia.
