I do have to wonder now, how much of that was from alcohol rot, and how much of it was underlying racism.

i have known many alcoholics in my life, not a single one has seig heiled no matter how smashed they were without being intensely racist to begin with

That’s fair.

In my defense, I knew he was a drunk. I didn’t know he was popping off Nazi salutes at gigs. He struck me as a hot mess, but not a Nazi. I figured that was just Phil Anselmo’s trademark. TMYK.
