Till now, we know that Modi's government purchased spyware like Pegasus to spy & hack activists, journalists, and opposition leaders. Now FT's investigations have unearthed that Modi-Shah are spying on all its citizens all the time by buying powerful surveillance tools from Israeli tech companies such as Cognyte and Septier.
According to FT's report, the surveillance system is installed on subsea cable landing stations, which allows India's security agencies to snoop on the personal data and communications of its 1.4 billion citizens.
All this spying is without any warrant or court order, and is a direct violation of our right to privacy. But since when does a dictator care for citizens rights?
