I was just experimenting haha. The coffee was surprisingly pretty good actually. With this, bypass was minimal. Agitation was also minimal because of using the melodrip. So brew water need to go through the thick coffee bed.
Minor downside would be that it's pretty hard to get a perfect seal with the aeropress filter. So there was a small amount of silt in the cup. Drawdown time was longer too.
