Honestly it's probably depressingly low. It's hard to prove and get justice especially as a private plaintiff who doesn't have the resources of a district attorney, and the payout would be for suffering which juries aren't great at calculating a value for.

Hopefully that will change and there will be much more pressure on these trusted institutions to behave.
