Years ago, my brother and I were in our apartment watching TV when we heard a woman scream. It's like 3 in the morning. Run outside and don't see anything, but we heard a thud. There are little alcoves between the buildings and when we turn down the one against our building, there is a man holding a rag over a woman's face, and he's raping her. He's got both her wrists pinned with one hand, holding her body down with his, and pulling her head back to hold the rag on. It looked like her neck would break. When he saw us he booked it and we went to help the woman. I stayed to help her, my brother ran after the rapist. Called the cops and they took nearly half an hour to show up. My brother came back about 15 minutes later, unable to find the rapist. We moved a few years later, but to my knowledge they never caught him. She had gone on a date with him, met him online. Said the date was shitty and he apparently followed her home without her knowledge. He had given her a fake name and deleted his profile.
