The problem with this article is that it assumes there is only one environmental issue: climate change. Other issues include microplastics, running out of finite resources, loss of biodiversity from multiple causes, depletion of groundwater etc.

This is one of the reasons the geoengineering ideas are crazy. At best they work but since we have all the other pollution we have not stopped our self made armageddon and at worst it just makes everything worse.
