It's a huge issue actually. All those beeps do prevent sleep and sleep deprivation worsens hospital dementia and slows healing. It's antiquated AF. Who needs to hear the beeps? The Nurse. Nurse could be many yards away so beeps need to be loud. Do you really think this is the best way we have in the 21st century to alert nurses?
