Fox News host Sean Hannity dedicated a segment of his Thursday show to deliver a message to Pope Leo XIV, suggesting he and others at the Vatican had totally lost sight of the true meaning of the bible and its teachings.

They are already positioning Trump for a religious re-brand when he's out after 2028. He will be the competition for the Pope in the MAGA religion. It's going to be the hottest, richest, most popular religion in the Universe, and Trump is your direct messenger to God.

They were hitting it HARD during the Biden administration, but the media wasn't covering it, of course. They quieted it down a bit when he got re-elected, but now that things are going even worse than predicted, they are ramping up the religious rhetoric again - "You better not mess with Trump, he knows Jesus and God personally."

They probably think that Americans won't have the stomach for prosecuting a genuine religious prophet. Yeah? Watch me.

I know you meant this comment as a portent of ill tidings, but "out in 2028" and "the media wasn't covering him" just sounds so relaxing, I'm having a hard time getting worked up over it.
