TL;DR the bike frame features a curved metal pipe with triangular cross-section that houses the battery and connects the rear wheel to the steering column. This is very heavy and relatively sharp so it will act as a fulcrum to apply leveraged sideways force on the rider's leg as the bike tips over. They are also heavy as fuck. They are quoted at 35kg. Parts of your body weight will also crash on your leg and if you have something in the basket, that's extra weight.
