What women are losing their careers from leaks in 2026? Maybe in the stone age (early 2000s) it happened? But it made the Kardashians

Lakeshia Jones (2014): A middle school teacher was fired after intimate photos of her were leaked.

Long Island Teacher (2019): A teacher was fired after a topless selfie was shared without her consent. She later filed a lawsuit against the school district, arguing the termination was a violation of her rights.

Stephanie and Arryn (Texas, 2017): Stephanie was fired from the Austin Bank Texas National Association after a "boudoir" photoshoot, in which she was partially nude, went viral online. The bank cited the photos as "inappropriate" and contrary to their "family orientated" image.

SAISD Employee (Texas, 2023): A San Antonio Independent School District employee was forced to resign after her ex-boyfriend emailed nude photos of her to the district, threatening to send them to her son. She was forced to choose between resignation or termination despite being a victim of revenge porn.

Chefs' Warehouse Employee (2019): An employee was fired from The Chefs' Warehouse after her former boyfriend sent intimate images of her to her supervisor and family members.

Thank you! I know I could easily double if not triple the list with a little more searching.

It’s like the men in here are all porn-brained and refuse to understand that women’s nudes are used to punish women regularly. As long as they can jerk to it, they don’t give a fuck.

I’d also wager that many men making these comments only view women as benefactors for being able to sell their nudes more easily than men. Smh.

Oh yeah I'm sure there's more examples.

The two I linked to are the ones I remember most. When I fiist read about them I was like WTF.

Yeah it's so cool when men dismiss the inequalities women face routinely.

"Maybe in the stone ages"

I pulled this incredibly short list from a quick internet search. There's a ton more.

I believe you, it's just not making the news I see anymore, I guess. And I am chronically online

It's depressing to know that men can just live their lives in complete ignorance of the struggles women deal with every day.
