Hell yeah! I love analogue film for a movie that's 90% special effects! Imax totally isn't a scam!
This is most likely being filmed in digital IMAX, not analogue.
I'm sorry, digital... IMAX? What benefit could that possibly provide? Better color matching?
Aspect ratio that is tall instead of 16x9.
The other option for shooting tall cinema is custom sideways anamorphic lenses like Hail Mary did for stuff on the space ship and in space.
