Example:

- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

Only because you're living thru this one, which is the same logical fallacy as when 2,000 years of Christians have all been convinced Jesus is coming back in their lifetime, and so will the next 2,000 years of Christians.
Shit that's happening around us currently always seem like a bigger deal, because to us it is, because it's happening to us right now.
Zoom out and start thinking as "humanity" and not "I" and none of this shit is really that new.
Yeah but I’ve lived through several others that never felt this big - Y2K, Mayan calendar, lots of smaller groups or religious zealots, probably other shit I’m forgetting. I think the big difference was that none of them possessed the means to bring it about themselves if they were sundowning. Which is a distinct possibility this time around.
Y2K was a real thing that was going to happen if an absolute shit ton of people hadn't have fixed it...
And how many Mayan's did you know who thought the world was ending?
Like, none of your examples are the same thing, you don't understand this but don't want to ask questions, so I'm not sure why you even replied.
If you don't want anything explained, I can makes sure I don't accidentally do that HIn.
