I'm ok with buying their used stuff as long as I can install Linux on them
I basically use macOS like Linux. I don’t use a single default app or Apple service (apart from Photos but I want to switch to Immich eventually) and over the years I’ve customised it so much that most people are confused when they try to use my computer lol
I run a dusty satalite tosheeebahhh 3 core like 4gbs of ram from 2008 as a DVR for 9 camers. Linux is awsome and has changed my mind about computing. I also would like to see what up with BSD. I need an old dusty rig to try that out. Eventually
Those days will come to a end eventually... Apple is a walled garden... their hardware is for their dragnet. All these companies will lock it down eventually... like they did to my old iphone.
denile is strong with these ones. I used to be a loser apple fanboy by the way
