Because of a number of reasons: one, as mentioned was the precariousness of our financial situations. Combine that with how absolutely gigantic the US is it's very hard to be able to coordinate a meaningful reaction that people would be confident enough to sacrifice for, individuals won't give up their house on the hopes that others might join in with them, and lastly tied to my emphasis of meaningful, we've been conditioned to believe the only correct form of resistance is the absofuckinglutly worthless "no kings" style protest were we all get together and yell at empty buildings, giving those who attended a false sense of accomplishment. The Media plays their "wowzers X number of people attended" the administration laughs and gives the finger, and nothing happens.

I really don't know what it would take :(

Going take us All living on the street with nothing to lose then we can rise up. But by then it will be to late.

So what can you do about it? How do you make resistance easier or more potent when others are ready?
