Do you think someone who is not a hat person can become one? Not just as a personal transformation, but one that their friends can come to know and accept?

[–] Thornburywitch@aussie.zone 3 points 2 years ago

Yes but it will take time. Becoming a hat person requires some adjustment to hairstyle and make up - hat hair is definitely a thing. Worth it though.

I've been wearing hats since I could remember.

Usually baseball hats, but have beanies, bucket hats and a flat cap for special occasions.

It's not often I'm outside the house without one.

They naturally become part of you after a while.

I think you have to start out subtle like a cap maybe. An akubra maybe not.

Like a Mr Toad flat cap or a baseball type cap? Or maybe one of those huge round caps like Homer Simpson wore to match his Mumu.

Isn't an oodie just a warm mumu with a hood?

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 4 points 2 years ago

Yes, yes it is.

[–] RosaliePreistley@aussie.zone 2 points 2 years ago

I don't wanna look like a weirdo, I'll take the warm mumu with a hood.

Go to a hatter and get a good hat that suits you.
