Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.

Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.

This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

Don't take yourselves too seriously. Serious posts go to !anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Rules

  1. If you post images with text, endeavour to provide the alt-text

  2. If the image is a crosspost from an OP, Provide the source.

  3. Absolutely no right-wing jokes. This includes "Anarcho"-Capitalist concepts.

  4. Absolutely no redfash jokes. This includes anything that props up the capitalist ruling classes pretending to be communists.

  5. No bigotry whatsoever. See instance rules.

  6. This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

  7. No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

35% still are in on the USA Iran war, they elected a rapist con man (and more) Twice.

What proof do you need?

And of course there are fantastic americans in the USA, but we're talking geopolitics, not statistical outliers.

[–] braxy29@lemmy.world 1 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

we're hardly statistical outliers.

[–] Valmond@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 11 hours ago

Well what are you doing to stop the dismantling of your democracy? I mean you americans in general.

[–] CaptainSpaceman@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

2/3 of Americans are outliers?

[–] Valmond@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

I didn't know 1/3 was needed to elect a president. /s

[–] CaptainSpaceman@lemmy.world 1 points 10 hours ago (2 children)

Technically 1 vote is enough if everybody else abstains

[–] commie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 10 hours ago

the electoral college would just choose someone if there were no popular vote.

[–] Valmond@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

Then 99.999% would be responsible for the election by doing nothing.

[–] nsrxn@mstdn.social 0 points 10 hours ago (2 children)

people aren't responsible for what others do.

[–] AntiBullyRanger@ani.social 2 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

sure looks like it, if you have the audacity to pretend your words have meaning.

[–] AntiBullyRanger@ani.social 2 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

It's not. If you're not responsible for your words, why would we pretend to responsibilize others’?

[–] nsrxn@mstdn.social -1 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

i never said i'm not responsible for my words.

[–] AntiBullyRanger@ani.social 2 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Then why would anyone read anyone’s words?

[–] nsrxn@mstdn.social 0 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

i'm sorry. i don't think i can have this conversation without a translator. have a nice day.

[–] AntiBullyRanger@ani.social 1 points 9 hours ago

Now you need a translator to responsibilize the logics of not responsibilizing presses/texts🙄.

Have a disassociating day!

[–] Valmond@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

But they are responsible if they don't vote.
