Ultimately because she failed to make the Epstein thing go away, by for example she actually released some of the files she was required to release by law, many of which named Donny multiple times. She was only supposed to release the ones without his name on them, apparently.
And then she didn't lie enough to congress to suit Donny's needs.
And on top of that, underneath all the eye-candy makeup for mango man, she is fundamentally a woman in a position of power, which really grinds his gears, especially at her age.
To a demented narcissist such as mango man, everyone else exists solely to service his needs, and as soon as they fail to do that, he cuts them off and replaces them with the next sycophant.
Furthermore, his fronto-temporal dementia has erased his self control, and he is now just acting out every idiotic thought that enters his head, and since he has surrounded himself with yes men, nobody is going to try and stop him
