Ok, that definitely isn't normal. I've never encountered that before. You might want to ask in the. !kde@lemmy.kde.social community for help. Do provide details like your distro its version and so on. You can open your system settings and go to the "about" or "system information" section to find all the details. It will be necessary to get help.
Thanks. I feel it is the automatic updates, which I have set to weekly, but I would think it were in the background and not popping up in the middle of a movie.
I also update frequently so I would have though that would reset the weekly timer but that's probably not how it works...
Distro is Fedora KDE Plasma 43, not at the machine so no more details available right now.
