Most of Europe is working hard to have as little to do as possible with the US going forward. It's like an embarrassing cousin who can't stop causing drama at family gatherings.
Even here in the UK who shot ourselves in the foot by voting to leave the EU with the hope of closer ties to the US has pretty universally seen the benefits of closer ties with Europe.
The UK is like Europe's super-depressed brother who said he's leaving and never coming back. We still love you, and the door will always be open if you want to come home.
However there will be a padlock on the fridge from now on
