Dr. Pepper would never do this. Dr. Pepper doesn't believe in guerilla advertising. Drink Dr. Pepper.

You can trust Dr. Pepper. After all, Dr. Pepper is a doctor. Drink Dr. Pepper.

As a fellow Dr. Pepper® head and completely living human, wouldn't you agree that Diet Dr. Pepper® offers less calories but with that same great Dr. Pepper® taste?

[–] ShankShill@sh.itjust.works 1 points 13 hours ago

No. But Dr Pepper® Zero Sugar does!

Yeah!

You ever take a sip of something and immediately question why you’d drink anything else?

Yeah. That’s Dr Pepper.

23 flavors. Zero explanation. Just vibes.

It’s not cola. It’s not root beer. It’s that mysterious, slightly rebellious friend who shows up uninvited and somehow becomes the highlight of the night.

Ice cold. Crisp. A little spicy. A little sweet. A whole personality in a can.

Whether you’re kicking back after a long shift, crushing trivia night, or just pretending to be productive—Dr Pepper gets it.

Go ahead. Crack one open.

Trust me… your taste buds deserve better than “just okay."

Dr. Pepper has more caffeine than coke, pepsi, coffee or tea.

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 7 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (2 children)

It's got more than coke by like 10mg. Mt. Dew has more caffeine than Dr. Pepper. None of them have more caffeine than coffee.

12oz Coke: 34mg

12 oz Dr. Pepper: 41mg

12 oz Mt Dew: 56mg

12oz black coffee: Averages beteeen 120 and 180mg.

I'm kind of shocked to realize just how closely their caffeine content lines up with how well I perceived them as headache cures before I learned about migraines and caffeine. I guess that's how the ancients figured out which plants do what.

[–] Crackhappy@lemmy.world 1 points 21 hours ago

Well fuck me sideways and call me wrong, because that's what I am. Thanks for the correction. I just checked a couple of other sources, and there is definitely some differences between all of the ones I found, but yeah, coffee is definitely more than all modern sodas.

The only reason Dr Pepper doesn't need to advertise is drink enough and you get addicted. Harder to quit then cigarettes and I should know going on 10 years smoke free. But can't give up the Dr Pepper.
