The main reason they've lost faith in the federal government is because billions of dollars have been invested in convincing those people that the federal government is responsible for all the things their own provincial government actually fucked up.
It is literally stupid people falling for stupid shit. Instead of educating these morons, they just feed their ignorance with conspiracy theories and culture war bullshit.
