Question on green

What’s Corps referring to here? I thought it was short for corporations but then the p wouldn’t be silent. So I guess I’m saying it like “Cors”. Not heard that before.

It's a military term. Army corps. I was thinking "corpse" and also dismissed it :D. It was blue, btw.
