Probably needs a refresh
How much stropping did you do? This razor seems to take well to lots of stropping. You can also try Chromium Oxide if you have it.
I think I did around 20 laps today before the shave. Probably could have done more.
I did pick up some chromium oxide paste recently, but haven’t put it on anything yet. Not sure how I want to approach that. I’d prefer not to use my existing linen strop, but I’m not sure how to best hang or mount something like a strip of denim or something.
For you and for @walden@wetshav.ing, I take denim, staple it around a 2x4 that I've sanded flat and use that as a bench strop. Alternatively, you can go to a hobby store, buy a dense piece of balsa (around 8x3), sand it flat, and then apply the chromium oxide directly to the wood. Balsa strops are terrific.
Balsa sounds right up my alley.
This is what mine looks like. No idea what I'm doing.
The cuff from the pant leg holds it in place when the drawer is closed.
