How did Bruce Wayne, Ted Kord, Oliver Queen, or any rich superhero build their lair without anyone knowing who they are—especially when so few people know their secret identity?

Shell corporations, same as real billionaires hide what they do.

If you don't know about this, you could sniff around the Nevis island rabbit hole to get an idea.
