Everything the Trump cult does is to cut off our balls. From citizens turning on each other to wasting our military power on a Middle Eastern country because our Middle Eastern twin can't share the goddamn sandbox.
Trump is a Russian spy through and through. He is doing everything to make sure there is no America to stand up against the Russian Behemoth.
Thank God for the willpower and cunning determination of the Ukrainian people and all those who went their of their own accord on the behalf of Ukraine. We are truly living in the days of a few heroes and many villains.
Eh ... I don't know.
Why then start a war with Iran of all countries, one of Russia's allies? I think a complete Russian puppet would start a war with a neutral country, or better yet one of Russia's many enemies. War with Denmark over Greenland would have been the move for a total Russian puppet. Set NATO at each other's throats, waste NATO resources, leave Russia's allies alone.
Now, for sure, he does have quite a lot of Russian influence ... but I don't think Putin is the only puppeteer with a hand up this puppet's ass. Trump basically listens to and believes whoever was the most recent person to talk to him, the most recent person to give him complements, the most recent person who took him seriously and inflated his ego even more.
There's the added complexity here that Trump can't make his own decisions anymore due to his dementia. He just does whatever the last person he talked to said.
It's why after talking to Netanyahu he does what Israel wants. After talking to Putin, he helps Russia. Even after attacking Iran, a Russian ally, he removed sanctions on Russian oil in the midst of the economic shitstorm he made, which effectively gives them billions of dollars again. So overall, it was actually a net win for Russia.
Hell, after talking to Mamdani, he started praising him, talking about how much good he's going to do for New Yorkers, and even repeating some of his talking points. Trump doesn't have any original thoughts anymore.
He's been unfiltered for as long as I've heard of him. Been in dementia that long?
There's a difference between unfiltered, and not being able to follow conversations, maintaining conversations, and just repeating what someone else says.
Trump has always meandered when talking bullshit, but it has gotten much worse in the last few months. It is very clear if you look back and compare side by side.
Occam's razer would probably cut this down to:
-Trump is a senile old man -Trump likely has Narcissistic Personality Disorder (possibly way more) -Trump is easily manipulated by his obvious levers of pride and greed -Trump has done plenty of things that have made him an easy blackmail target
This just makes him a puppet for anyone that has a higher IQ than him, which is not a high bar to clear.
Easily justifiable and believable to the magat base, waste material that could be used against Russia either directly or via Ukraine, further political infighting/deadlock in the US, further degrade US’ standing with allies/global community, more global chaos, inflict the same economic stress Russia is dealing with on the world and on it goes. Russia sent over a million of its own citizens to the meat grinder for its own ends in Ukraine, you think it gives a fuck about its “allies” if it means furthering their ends?
And remove sanctions / increase price of Russian oil.
The war did raise the price of oil, and make buying Russian oil more popular - so helping his buddy Putin that way.
This is an interesting assessment of geopolitics. I would say that China is the only country that comes close to being a behemoth relative to the US though.
It's true that America is slowly transforming into an Israeli and Russian foreign asset rather than a true democracy.
Weirdly enough, not winning will get weapons sold, will make shale sands petroleum worthy to pump, will make Saudi Arabia's budget balance, makes the EU more dependant on cooperating with their new big petrol and gaz seller ...
If you think about it, they were very slow to move anything towards helping Iranian civilians... As if they didn't want friendlies in power right now...
When I was growing up, there was a super hero named underdog. Now, I haven't seen any reboots, or anything like that. So for anyone who's never seen underdog, imagine one of those kids cartoons where animals are people. Dogs walking just on their back legs. That sort of thing.
Well underdog is a regular timid guy, who just seems like an accountant.
And then some danger happens, and he runs into a phone booth, superman style, and comes out as underdog.
Basically, imagine millhouse from the simpsons as a superhero.
You know, there are ways of undermining US socio-economic hegemony without killing millions of people.
I'll never get the BlueMAGA head who looks at American GOP-lead fascism and insists that the real victims of it are Americans.
This, while we've got multiple genocides occurring on our watch.
Absolutely sickening.
If Trump is the cause of America's destruction, perhaps its deserved. He's not an agent of Putin, he's an agent of Karma
