See I take the ever so nuanced stance of yes Isreal is entitled to self defense, BUT and stay with me here it's important, what they are doing isn't self defense anymore and needs to be stopped
Israel has successfully argued what they're doing is self defense by claiming Palestine wants to do genocide to them, so by genociding Palestine first they "get the drop on them"
This is not how self defense works but the US heard this and went "seems legit"
It basically has never been self defense.
