Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Limit of two posts per person per day.
- Bots aren't allowed.
- Banned users will have their posts removed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

The problem with pointing out contradictory points of view to the right wing is that they largely don't care. These arguments are ultimately just dog whistles and plausible deniability towards their real ends.
They'll argue parent's right when the parents agree with them, then trample those same rights when they don't - and won't even blink because parent's rights wasn't the goal, it was the elimination of Trans kids, which both points are consistent with.
And their ultimate goal is hypernormalcy, not child protection. Hungarian here, our cHiLd pRoTecTiOn laws are liked for protecting children from "deviancy", so that they will try harder to be "normal".
Pointing it out is for the unaware/oblivious part of the population who haven't caught on that conservatived are hypocritical assholes. With enough repetition of examples it might sink in.
In their heads what they're actually saying is 'moral rights.' As in "I have a moral obligation to destroy trans kids." Everything else is, as you said, a dog whistle. But if it's a MORAL right, then it doesn't matter what anyone else is doing because they are wrong and an enemy.
They just say stuff for results. They have an emotion and they'll say whatever supports it, even if they said something contradictory earlier. They are, frankly, stupid and dishonest people.
