Incorrect. This makes Trump and friends happy, but doesn't lead to canceled mid terms.
Oil prices surge so high that the common people cant afford to drive to work and civil unrest occurs and riots break out.
Closer. I agree with the last part: civil unrest = cancelled midterms.
But I don't believe high oil prices are a sufficient trigger. I think it will be something more specific and controllable
