I know, I've seen you before.

We do share some aversion against AI, but I don't think every single use case is bullshit.Okay, my example is. That ball could have been drawn on the fly, but I was in bed and on my mobile phone, so I didn't really want to.

But because I'm lazy bum, I'm dictating this text to my local running, open source ML speech to text keyboard, and I love it. And I will continue to utilize specialized tools for specialized use cases.

AI has its pros but Imo it's problems can outweighs its cons.

I would be happy if people who generating AI slop, stop calling themselves "artists" or AI as a "tool", Typing away prompts don't make them an Artist, Another thing is its getting really good most people won't see any difference. It is really unpleasant to see the internet get filled with AI generated images... I would be happy if somehow you could distinguish between AI and Real art so you can appreciate the work the artist have done.ย

I also hate that this technology is pushed by major tech companies who only wish to suck our souls out and sell it to advertising companies, The fake hype they create and pushing AI down our throught.. AI in browsers AI in Operating System, AI in Social Media's, AI in messaging apps , and AI in my ass.ย

AI is a fascinating technology but its a crutch, people often resist change and whatever that's new, people resisted computers... Hell - Aristotle wasn't a fan of books, but AI is completely different. Its making an whole generation literally utterly useless and dumb. I can't even imagine a generation doomscrolling all the time when they have to actually take decisionsย in their life and use their brain which is was already conditioned by Instagram algorithm, now use the easy way out- instead of problem solving in real life- They ask Chatgpt. What do you achieve in life, if your whole life was planned by billionaires just like how they wanted?ย  An entire lifetime working like worker bees to buy Netflix and Doomscroll and go to McDonalds and buy p*rno/subscription and Chatgot Pro, Gemini Pro, Claude pro spent all your life savings on subscriptions, well that's the sad future of an average individual. I wish Elliot was real, he could fix the world.ย

Maybe that's why I hate AI and absolutely losey shit when I see an AI generated image.ย

I understand what you say and I share at least some of those beliefs, but I run locally what I can run locally. And I'm biased into using machine learning, not LLMs.
