He had a plurality of the vote; 42% of those that voted, voted for him. Voter turnout was about 65%. Voter registration was 74%.

Quick math, what's 42% of 65% of 75% of the voting populace?

Most of us didn't vote for him. Most of us that voted didn't vote for him.

He got 42% of the vote. That means that 58% did not vote for him. I don't know why this is so difficult for y'all to understand.
