Yesterday I used my cashmere knot, one of my easiest to lather with knots. Today, using the G5C which is very absorbent for a synthetic, butuch less than boar or high density badger, so middle of the road. No problems so far loading enough soap to lather with, despite being a hard soap. I don't "bloom" my soap but I usually wet it for a few seconds then dump out the excess. It's the same general idea I guess but just enough to dissolve a little soap for easy loading without making the whole tub/pick get soggy deeper than the surface. Tomorrow I'll continue with killing my Haverford, then I'm going to experiment with scooping this SV and bowl loading.
