Yeah... You lost me at "woke up at 5am". fuck that.
It does suck at first. I’m out of habit at the moment, but when you actually just wake up at that time instead of the dreaded snooze loop, you come into the day more awake and alert than anyone else, on top of the fact that you’ve probably taken some time to watch, read, or listen to something to relax ahead of time.
It can genuinely be the difference between a good day and a bad one.
If I woke up at 5am, I'd have to go to bed at like 8pm to get a full night's sleep. I went to a friend's party yesterday that didn't even start until 800pm. Getting up that early on the regular would mean a death blow to social life, or you'd be exhausted all the time from staying up into normal evening hours.
One off late nights are fine though. As long as you normally get a good night sleep then it's not much of a problem
