As "tradwives" go viral, groups like Turning Point USA are urging Gen Z women to leave work and have babies. So we talked to tradwives who aren't rich influencers. One told us about relying on SNAP and Medicaid during her pregnancy — the exact programs the GOP is gutting.

More Perfect Union is an Emmy-winning, nonprofit newsroom whose mission is to build power for working people. Here’s what that means: We report on the real struggles and challenges of the working class from a working-class perspective. We attempt to connect those problems to potential solutions. We report on the abuses and wrongdoing of corporate power. And we seek to hold accountable the ultra-rich who have too much power over America’s political and economic systems.

Nothing in life is without sacrifice.
What trad wives are sacrificing is their ability to be independent from a man. My mom went through husbands and thank god she had the freedom to do it.
My dad is a pos, brothers dad also pos, sister dad believe it or not pos, 4th husband way too young for her. 5th husband seems to be working out. If she didnt have a job which ones would we have been stuck with with no other male to support her because she cant support herself. No I consider this heavily shortsighted and weak. If anything it only applies to woman with good families that can support them.
And what did she really sacrifice by working? As far as im concerned nothing. Not like kids go to school during the day. Was she exhausted after work? Yeah but so is any adult.
