It's one of those games that's just aggressively mid
Like a solid fine if you have to give it an actual description

Isn't that what the original Saints Row was, a bargain bin GTA ๐ค
maybe, but 2 and ~~3~~ The Third were charming and fun madness
it was but the new Saints Row is a bargain bin Ubisoft open world game, which is worse than being a bargain bin GTA.
SR1 was very good imo at release but didnt age well, in terms of gameplay complexity. Some of the last missions are very good in terms of design though.
