  • Brush: Rad Dinosaur Creations - w/AP Shave Co. Cashmere 26mm Synthetic
  • Razor: Star Double Edge
  • Blade: Bolzano Superinox (German) (1)
  • Lather: Stirling Soap Co. - Oro Valley - Soap
  • Post Shave: MW - Bay Rum - Aftershave
  • Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. - Friends to the End - Balm

I won 6 of these razors in an auction recently. All 6 are in their original display boxes with some "6NX" blades. I plan on going through them and picking one to keep, selling the rest.

My initial impression of this razor is very positive. The head is similar construction to a Gillette Tech, but the handle makes it feel sooo much nicer. Great knurling and just the right weight.

It seems more efficient than a Tech, and I can see why people always compare it to a Tech. It might just be the honeymoon phase, but if I had to pick between the two I'd choose the Star. Enjoyable to use, and very efficient. Not too mild, not too aggressive. Just right.

Neat! I might be interested in one of these when you get around to selling them.
