This looks like a video game render

The lady painting looks like she herself is in watercolors. It was a crisp mostly sunny day, but I didn’t do anything to it to make it look weird. But it kinda does look weird. Can’t put my finger on it

Oh it looks awesome, just so clear it’s almost unreal

Super trippy, must be the sun angle.

I clicked in to see what video game/program it was from .

It's probably because there is something out of frame that is reflecting light perpendicular to the sun. Look at the trim on both porch roofs to the far left and compare it to the porch farther right just below the spire; they should be the same shadow intensity but the left one is noticably brighter. Plus its rare to see such a bright roof with dark trim in real life which adds to the uncanniness.

Yeah, this guy gets a fresh paint job every other year, it seems. I kinda like the colors, but definitely unusual. When Peter Norton bought it 1991 he meticulously had it restored- only to have it burn down shortly after. So, he built it again. Nice to have $$$$

Assuming you used a smart phone, it'll likely be your camera's "smart" post-processing that did it

I've got some pictures of a city hall that looks almost fake because of how the building is coloured... Not exactly the same as this because that one looked like it had outlines but it's still a weird effect.

Yeah, it definitely something like that. And the freshy paint job is poppin.

It looks a lot like the art style from Blue Prince.

Looks like an architectural render to me that someone has ai'd some grass and plants on. It's definitely odd. Cool house though.

[–] kernelle@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 weeks ago

Yeah it reminds me of those pictures takes when the sun is at the zenith with barely any shadows

I thought it was RuneScape
