Explanation: Today is the Ides of March, the day on which the Roman conqueror and dictator Gaius Julius Caesar was assassinated, by being stabbed numerous times by the Senatorial aristocracy.

Helvetia is the Latin name for what-is-now Switzerland, which is noted for a form of cheese that develops holes in it, looking vaguely like it's been butchered by knife-wielding assassins ๐Ÿ˜ญ
