its hard for me to take a picture where my eyes dont look like psychopath eyes.

i actually like this pop-in portrait. but thx for the tricks! what software would you use for picking a frame? i wouldn't do that often if i had to fire up a big video editing suite. ...

I guess it depends on your setup. I was assuming this was a phone photo. Which you could just do on it’s photo app. I personally would do it through Lightworks on my pc if I used my main camera like that, but my main camera has a burst function for that kinda thing. So it’ll take like 10 shots every time I press the shutter button.

Most modern cameras also have a storage media over usb function. So if you have a usb-c to usb-c, you could plug the camera right into your phone to import the video and go through the frames. If you do that though, you may lose some of the resolution depending on the camera and the phone. It’ll be a social media worthy picture, but maybe not full resolution.

Edit: Also I do think it’s a good shot, well framed and a warm expression on a cool colored background. I was just trying to approach the “psycho eyes” thing that I’ve heard lots of people struggle with.
