News
Welcome to the News community!
Rules:
1. Be civil
Attack the argument, not the person. No racism/sexism/bigotry. Good faith argumentation only. This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban. Do not respond to rule-breaking content; report it and move on.
2. All posts should contain a source (url) that is as reliable and unbiased as possible and must only contain one link.
Obvious biased sources will be removed at the mods’ discretion. Supporting links can be added in comments or posted separately but not to the post body. Sources may be checked for reliability using Wikipedia, MBFC, AdFontes, GroundNews, etc.
3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.
Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.
4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.
Posts which titles don’t match the source may be removed. If the site changed their headline, we may ask you to update the post title. Clickbait titles use hyperbolic language and do not accurately describe the article content. When necessary, post titles may be edited, clearly marked with [brackets], but may never be used to editorialize or comment on the content.
5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials, videos, blogs, press releases, or celebrity gossip will be allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis. Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.
7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

Well, Mr. Pretti was 2A carrying, and what do I hear? "He shouldn't have been carrying", " he was reaching for his gun", "you don't know, you weren't there", " he was a violent individual confronting federal officers", and so on. Rules for thee but not for me and all that.
Also suddenly it's, "never go to a protest while armed".
Unreal coming from them.
Even putting Kyle Rittenhouse aside, the right is notorious for bringing firearms to protests in states with open carry laws.
Funny how the authoritarians are so big on that lately, when they're still blue in face from reciting an amendment that says "I can if I want and I'll absolutely do it again, fashy."
You telling me you’d shoot a fed? Why don’t you go and do it then.
Pretti exercised his 2nd amendment right and that worked out in death for him.
We should be showing up armed and ready, but don’t make it seem like it’s an easy thing to do.
The key to showing up armed is to have friends, preferably many, also armed.
It's easy to single out and bludgeon a peaceful concealed carrier with naught but helpless spectators around and conveniently see the weapon on his person as an "imminent threat" after executing him on the street. (God rest his soul)
If the local 2A club was peacefully standing out there, the thugs would definitely reconsider violence as their first resort.
Doubt.
K.
Yeah all those people coming out in droves to help protect their neighbors don't have each other's backs.
Putting themselves in harm's way to try to protect their neighbors is performative to you?
Thanks for confirming I can easily ignore what you say.
Neither are you.
I don't need a crystal ball to read your multiple comments acting like an idiot that doesn't know what they're talking about. I can just read them.
Not OP by the way. Just followed this conversation long enough to let you know that no crystal ball is needed to make such a determination of your character when the poor decisions you made leading to each of your statements already exist.
Maybe stop acting like an asshole that thinks people are psychic when they figure out your an asshole? It's just obvious from your behaviour.
Do you?
Lol
I'm not. This is only my second response. Not OP.
I'm just responding again because your asshole nature compels you to be the last to say something.
So go on. Keep choosing to waste time saying something assholish instead of constructive. How long do you think it will take before you realize you're appealing to your insecurities instead of your brain?
My guess is forever because your an asshole.
Says the dog I accurately predicted would roll in shit, and now are. Just because you can keep barking doesn't mean it will ever be worth listening to.
It says I like making dogs like you do tricks for lulz. Responses to this comment are reserved for idiots, assholes, and cucks only. But no worries, I checked, and you're already pre-approved to respond.
Haaaaaahahahaha
