Consider three of the biggest developments in our politics right now: We just learned that the economy lost 92,000 jobs in February, a capstone to a terrible year in terms of job creation. President Trump has fired widely despised Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, a key architect of his mass deportations. And reports are indicating that the killing of scores of Iranian schoolchildren might have been the handiwork of the United States.

What links all these things? In addition to the massive human toll they’re inflicting, they suggest that Trump is about to pull off a unique trifecta. He is squandering the advantage he and Republicans have enjoyed in recent years on three major GOP-friendly issues: The economy, immigration, and national security.

What? How did this happen without me hearing about it at all?

First, thank fuck she's gone. But second, what horrible creature will be (or already has) replaced her?

Markwayne (somehow, that's his actual name) Mullin.

He's perhaps best known as the senator who challenged a union leader to a fistfight during a Senate hearing.

He's also a former MMA fighter (3-0-0), loves violence against women, and hates limits on profiting from holding political office.

She still works for the administration, just got moved to something less public facing… And Markwayne Mullin, the asshole senator from OK.

A community college graduate (Construction Technology) with zero experience doing anything that has to do with that job or anything like it. We're in for a new kind of Trump dumpster fire.

Well the primary, and in fact only, skill required is being able to say yes to trump.
