MODERATORS

Support for violence to resist feminism was highest among adolescent boys (28%), followed closely by adolescent girls (21%).

Perhaps most alarming: roughly 40% of boys aged 13 to 17 agreed that women lie about domestic and sexual violence.

These results raise crucial questions going forward. We don’t yet know how these views have changed over time, whether they are on the rise and what the links are between violent extremism and the negative treatment of women.

Great job they got Harvey Weinstein. It was't started for no reason. (Not that you said that, but I think thats where down votes are coming from).

I don't know how we got from that to ""Women DON'T lie about rape" and the U. VA disaster. Or "mattress girl" who did the big stunt of carrying a mattress around her college campus and saying "this is the mattress I was raped on". At some point her text messages came out in court and it became pretty clear that not only had she had consensual sex with the guy (another student in the dorms), but she was a sex pest herself. She wanted a second hookup and when he said no, she threatened to tell everyone he raped her. Which she did, making it a national news story thanks to #MeToo.

(Edit: Looked it up and I misremembered wrong. This was before #MeToo. Yeah, you can see a lot of that energy in some #MeToo participants later.)

To this day, Wikipedia has an extremely one-sided story with glaring omissions.

By far the greatest motive to lie is creating an environment where "all women and zionists are truthful about rape and war", because one of them was victimized. RAINN.org promotes a hateful lie infographic claiming that "99% of rapists go free" that could just as logically be interpreted as 99% of accusations are false.
