Why I can't change profile picture? (self.pixelfed)

I can't change my profile picture on gram.social, the account linked to my mastodon account. has anyone experienced the same thing? I have another account on the same instance which isn't registered/linked with any mastodon account (registered via email) and I can change the profile picture.

Sorry late reply but I just saw your post.

For me it was the image size, my image was to big (can nor remeber how many mb the limit is)

But it hit the limit and there was no errors, just no new profile picture. I changed to a smaller one and it worked!
