Quebec subsidizes its electricity. Which irritates other provinces that pay it equalization payments, since that the subsidization is not included.

We can only subsidize failing EV companies in Canada, cheap electricity we draw the line.

I don't understand what you're saying. Hydro Quebec pays royalties of $2-3 billion per year to the Government of Quebec.

Or do you mean that the government of Quebec subsidizes electricity consumers?
