Explanation: After the Nazi regime was overthrown in WW2, the Allies split Germany into two - east and west - in part to ensure control over 'their' portion of Germany, but also in part because Germany had (by their eyes, perhaps not wholly fairly wrt WW1) started two world wars over the course of 25 years, and they had gotten quite tired of that.
Looks around. I sure am glad the good guys won that war. Right? Right? We could have endless war for profit, genocides, unwarranted mass surveillance, children being murdered in schools and much worse.
You do realize "This shit is horrific" does not need to imply "It would have been no big deal if the Nazis won", right?
I guess we'll never know. But I'm sure the people in charge who have been raping and eating kids wouldn't lie to you right? its not like they are making lists of " enemies" and killing civilians in broad daylight without a trial?
... no, we very much do know. Have you forgotten the Holocaust? Generalplan Ost? The whole fucking second World War?
Have you heard of whats going on in gaza hint a fun little holocaust or africa or the thriving slave trade? And every war after ww2? Funny you failed to mention the atomic bombing of innocence japanese civilians and the red terror.
