Oh great so it's only utterly pointless and uncomfortable.
This is my privileged white guy battle that I will fight to my final day. Yes it is low stakes, but it is a battle someone needs to fight. I will never wear a tie, and I will view anyone who does as choosing to uphold one of the biggest systems of oppression I regularly deal with.
Wouldn't the tie keep you a little bit warmer while you're on the cross?
