Now I just gotta do the sides and the inside as well as fix up the terrain around it. I also might add glowstone to illuminate the windows.

I like the aesthetic, with a Norman style keep and the gatehouse on the curtain wall.

Have you considered digging a moat around the outside of the curtain wall? You could flood it too, but most actual medieval moats were dry. Their main function is to make the walls harder to ladder over and to stop siege towers from reaching the walls.

Thanks! I did take inspiration from Norman castles so glad you like it. I thought of adding some fountains because it does need more water. But it's kind of on a hill so not sure if a moat would look good or not? But I might try that out and see. Its' a cool idea and would let me make a drawbridge since there is a gatehouse already.

Yeah, the location on a hill is really good. I was just thinking of a ditch about maybe 5 blocks deep and 8 blocks wide up against the outer wall. The walls that are already on the edge of the hill don't need it.

A good example of what I'm thinking of is Coch Castle in Wales.

Ok thanks I will try it and see and thansk for the idea. I love welsh castles. I went to Castell Rhuddlan and Beeston Castle. Amazing.
