And he’s right, Gavin Newsom sucks ass, Dems need a better candidate- which was the whole fucking point of the statement.
But a bunch of turbo libs released TikToks claiming he’s a republican psyop who only exists to make the democrats lose, and that’s the reason Trump beat Kamala, etc
I agree too. I'm over voting for ineffective, limp dick, billionaire cucked, liberals. Shit's slid too far out of balance on their watch and all they're offering is the same old playbook. I will say, I still get constantly down voted here depending on which server I'm floating around in.
Not even democratic voters like their candidates, this is not a "leftist purity" problem, it's literally just a leadership problem
Honestly, it’s only a problem if only a few follow their convictions and the rest don’t. But if a big minority were to arise, even surpass democrats, they’d have to finally start thinking about changing the system, lest they get dropped because of this very fucking system. But that only ever works if those who shit on dems actually put the money where their mouth is. As long as anyone is going to give in and eat the shit of voting for d just because they are not r, not because they want to, then it’s always going to just go to shit and benefit the opposite side. So either everyone has to accept to drop their ideals and morals and vote d consistently, or everyone who feels dissatisfied them, everyone, votes third way. Anything in between is just winning for the r side.
The system is fucking terrible, I can’t believe it still exists and keeps on existing.
newsome made it clear what he supports earlyon, if people voted for him and acts surprised its on them.
So did Biden, but a lot of people voted Biden in 2020 because they thought "Dems are for free healthcare, free college, ending wars, anti-covid, defunding police, all the good things, and Biden is a dem".
In 2028, if Newsom wins the primary, you will hear hiw he is the most progressive ever, and if he wins the general, how unpopular and unworkable progressive policy is. Followed by half the dem voters staying home in 2030 and 32.
