Unfortunately - we don't really do "no confidence" votes for the president here. Unless he's impeached and removed for something truly awful and illegal (not sure what else he can do that's worse than what he's already done, but maybe I lack imagination), we've got years more to go of this shit.

If the mid-terms drastically go against Trump, this 'no confidence' could be easily reformulated as a means for impeachment.

In Canada? Of course we will still have elections and by-elections. Wait - you mean the Americans? They still have a few years before they cancel their elections. I think Vance wants to be formally elected. Looks good in the history books.
